THAN DANG (Vietnam)

Macleay International Alumna

MAHAM TARIQ (Pakistan)
Bachelor of Business (Accounting)

Bachelor of Journalism

"I chose Australia because of the cultural diversity, friendly people and the high quality education the country has to offer. Macleay is a great college with friendly lecturers and peers. I loved the 'Pitch' unit as it provided me with the first step towards my future business. I know my degree will be beneficial in my future career. My ideal job is to become a manager in the hospitality industry."

I loved to analyse and evaluate reports and determine that the values are beyond just profit or loss. They are also about drawing budgets, speculating the future performance of a company and possible investment opportunities. All my accounting assignments at Macleay have assisted me to develop extensive analytical skills. This is not just restricted to financial reports, but also improved presentation skills, I am now able to explain and interpret the outcomes even better, which is essential for a Financial Analyst.

After completing high school, Dineth travelled to Melbourne to study at Macleay College and has just secured a paid journalism role - before even completing his Bachelor of Journalism degree. “Macleay College’s practical program has really paid off for me. I’ve learned how to do everything from podcasting, editing, video production, writing, interviewing and photography."
